Hi Friends,

Since I am a Pakistani living in Saudi for almost 13 years, do I have to submit PCC from both Saudi and Pakistan?

Regards,
SK

Hi,

I am a FSW 2011 applicant, I applied from Pakistan and submitted my file to Sydney, Nova Scotia after that I traveled to Saudi Arabia on a work visa in 2013 till now,
Furthermore I informed LVO that i moved to Saudi and also sent them my visa page and Saudi PR card copies via Email. Meanwhile i sent all my family members medical from Saudi Arabia on 10-12-2013

During all this process I also sent updated forms in which i wrote my present Saudi address but i kept my mailing address unchanged that was of Pakistan.

Now before a week i got an email from visa office which they asked me to send my Updated information Chart along all family members PP copies, which I sent them.

Now i just confused that will the visa office ask me to submit the PP from Pakistan OR from Saudi Arabia???
since me and my job both are working here in Saudi and it will extremely difficult for us in case CIC asked us to submit your PP from Islamabad (Pak).

I need an advice and help to what to do in this stage??? should I write an email to visa office or just wait for further procedure???

I beieve they will ask you to submit your passports through vfs visa processing centre in Saudi Arabia.

However, if I were you, to be on the safe side, I would refresh their info about my new address by attaching a cover letter with the filled up Forms.

Yes bro. You will have to submit PCC for every country that you have stayed for 6 months or more since your 18th birthday.
That's the general rule. In rare cases, VO might make an exception incase it is really difficult to get a PCC if you finally left that country.

I agree, if ever you are already out of KSA, it is very difficult. Unless the GR in your company are willing to assist you in whatever way they could.

Good day fellow Saudi Applicants,

I'm planning to get an FBI clearance, would you guys please advise as to where can I obtain a finger print service here, I've read that local police station may do this? To all those who have experience obtaining FBI clearance from here, please share your experience.

Thanks for the help.

Are you talking about Police Clearance Certificate required for Canadian Immigration?

Thanks for responding. Yes, I already had applied for Saudi Police Clearance Cert but I'm also wanted to obtain FBI clearance certificate as I had about 7 business trips to US since 2006 (the first one lasted for 6-months).

Thanks i Just emailed the visa office for my address change.

Dear Saudi Applicants. when i submitted my application I have written the city of Birth as Dammam, although my actual city of birth is Khubar. Those living in KSA know that both cities are adjacent and people usually refer to them as one (Dammam/Khubar). None of the documents submitted states this. all my documents has place of birth written as "Saudi Arabia" only.

I am thinking of updating this after I get PER and my file transfer to the VO. Do you think this is going to cause an issue?

What is the birth city in your passport? or it mentions only Saudi Arabia?
I assume that the translated Saudi birth certificate mentions Khobar. Right? if not then it is perfect. No issues.

Thanks for your reply. I don't have the Saudi BC now. But I have an Egyptian version. We usually have to surrender the Saudi BC to get the Egyptian one. In the Egyptian BC it only says Saudi

Then you are fine. No worries :)
Dammam is the main city (or region). Khobar is a part of it. Therefore, mentioning Dammam makes more sense than Khobar.

So in this case, should I update the VO once I get the PER or AOR? Just to be on the safe side and be as much honest as possible

That's upto you bro. But if Khobar is not mentioned anywhere is any document that you have submitted (or will submit in the future) then I don't see any reason to mention this. I don't see this as 'misrepresentation' at all since Khobar is considered a small city inside Dammam.

For example, if you are born in Dhahran, what would you mention? It is a very small town. I would mention Dammam in that case.
If you are driving to Riyadh to Khobar, what would you say to your friends in Riyadh? I guess you will say you are going back to Dammam.
If that makes sense for you. Just keep it as it is. Of course you can inform your visa office after file transfer, I just don't see it necessary at all.
