yes it is better to send them proof of fund before they ask you for it, but you can send either a bank letter stating your balance OR you can send 6 months bank statement. what ever you like.

NO, it will not be enough, try to send current bank statement.

I need your assistance in filling the additional dependant form as I hv a newborn baby. The form is ''IMM0008DEPENU Additional Dependants/ Declaration Form.'' http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf.

I am confused in filling the question no. 13 Current Country of Residence: Ok its Saudi Arabia. But what should I fill in ''Status box." Currently I chose ''Other'' and in ''Other Box'' wrote Resident Permit because I am working here on Resident permit or should I write in Other Box "Dependant''?. But I am confused as she is just an Infant so what dates should be written on From and To?

Kindly send an appropriate answer.

If your daughter was born in Saudi Arabia, 'From' will be her date of birth. Otherwise 'From' will be date she arrived in Saudi from the country of birth. Thanx for ur quick response. This question is cleared ok but which form should be filled as there are two IMM0008 forms, one is Generic Application and the second is IMM0008DEPENU Additional Family Information/Dependant Declaration?

Do not worry yourself about your bank draft ,it normally lasts for 6 months. If every other thing is good with your application package and the draft expires in their hand, they will simply return the expired draft with a letter indicating your file number and a request for you to send them a new demand draft.
You wont be penalized for their delay if the draft expires with them.

dear talktomeals, i doubt it will be returned as there is nothing of the sort mentioned on the CIC web, Instead the instructions clearly say that expiry date of the draft must be at least 5 months into the future and that's all. My understanding is that mostly drafts are charged / drawn within three to four months of receiving the application, the ones which are eligible, cheers

Dear Hasni, you are right on the information available on the CIC but the questioner is an applicant of QSW which operates slight differently. The experiences of other QSW applicants whose demand draft expired before it was cashed is what I wrote above.

recently i have send RPRF to london after completing MR and i have done my draft from SABB, any branch of SABB jeddah will do that for you, or else you may try with NCB, and the address to send your draft is as follows:

How much is their (Rajhi Al Taweel) service charge?
Which bank do you operate your account with in KSA ? You can do the transaction from your bank ,they will just transfer your money from your Saudi account to your account in Canada with minimal service charge of say 70 or 75 SR. I know of services with Alinma and Samba banks. Check your bank through their customer services first.
