Hi everyone,

My colleague and me both are international students and work in the same company and in the same department, same job title as well "Technical support analyst". My colleague submitted his file in March and I am going to submit it in 1st week of May, but my Manager has given both of us a same job reference letter with same duties, he just changed the name and date on mine. I would like to know can it effect my application in any way.

Thanks all!

The letter won't be a problem, however, you say you are both international students? As in at the moment you are on a coop or off campus work permit and you have gained your experience that way?

If the answer is yes, then the experience before graduation will not count for CEC.

My experience is on post graduate work permit, thanks for clarifying
it doesnt matter actually whether your experience was gained on pgwp. If you are working full time and studying, your experience will not count towards CEC. I know this because I almost fell into that trap
