Sabbatical in canada

Hi all, does CTS has sabbatical? Especially in Canada? I want to take 4 month unpaid leave for myself. Not because of any medical issues but to take care of some family matter. I checked policy, one can take 17 week leave to take care of family member who is sick. But mine is not medical case. Does anyone know about it or know someone who has done it?

You will have to discuss taking unpaid leave with your employer. It really comes down to your employer whether they will approve the leave
