The changes as far as I see in the NOC list is that the list of 38 is now the list of 29. They also cap the number of applications they will consider to 20,000 a year and maximum of 1,000 applications per occupation. I haven't seen there yet how they will choose which 20,000 or which 1,000 applications per occupation they will consider for processing in each 12 month period, the first to arrive or what. Before, if you applied under FSW, you were guaranteed to get in if you met the criteria but this seems that they are not guaranteeing that any more because of this cap.
There are 20 NOC's that have been cut from the old list leaving 18 and then 11 new NOC's have been added.

Surely this is a big blow for the people who were getting ready to apply under a NOC that has just been cut but a stroke of luck for people who did not qualify before and whose NOC has just been added.
