Rules have been changed ? Big change ?

I have heard that from 26th june 2010 we have to send along with forms all the supporting documents for example IELTS score,your degrees,Police certificate etc ?
I just want to confirm as i was about to apply and send the forms but now m just hung.. Please help !

yes, big change. Not only documentation changes but the NOCs on the list is different.

But in Canadian immigration official site they have not given it much weightage and not written clearly that now we have to send all the supporting documents also with our initail forms.. They can make things much easier by clearly indicating new rules or changes but its not like this..

Yeah, i think the CIC website has a bit of info from the old process, some from the new process and its hard to say whether it was left there from the old process because it is the same or because they haven't updated it yet lol.

The changes as far as I see in the NOC list is that the list of 38 is now the list of 29. They also cap the number of applications they will consider to 20,000 a year and maximum of 1,000 applications per occupation. I haven't seen there yet how they will choose which 20,000 or which 1,000 applications per occupation they will consider for processing in each 12 month period, the first to arrive or what. Before, if you applied under FSW, you were guaranteed to get in if you met the criteria but this seems that they are not guaranteeing that any more because of this cap.

There are 20 NOC's that have been cut from the old list leaving 18 and then 11 new NOC's have been added.

These NOC's have been cut from the list:

0632: Accommodation Service Managers
0711: Construction Managers

Surely this is a big blow for the people who were getting ready to apply under a NOC that has just been cut but a stroke of luck for people who did not qualify before and whose NOC has just been added.

But i am still not clear about whether along with initial forms should i attach my all documents like my degrees, police certificate, bank statements etc ?

i was about to submit my initial forms tomorrow but now am stuck. i already have IELTS score but preparing other documents and bank statement needs time,can anyone please guide me what documents i have to attach with initial forms ?

Go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp and read their new application guide and document checklist and go on that because that is basically all you have. As far as I can see on the checklist, they added IELTS as something you should send to CIO but I don't see bank statements.

By the way, looks like they have also killed category 3 for FSW.

In order to answer you correctly, can you answer the following:
1) Are you the CIO stage or visa office stage? In other words, have you mailed anything to Sydney, Nova Scotia before?
2) Do you have a visa for London? why London?

You do have to submit all the supporting documents with your initial application. However, everybody has to send their initial applications to the CIO.

If you have not started the immigration process, you should read through the instructions carefully. I think they now want all documents to be send to Nova Scotia first with you indicating London as your visa office. I don't think this means that you send your initial forms to London. I think it means you send it to Nova Scotia with London as your visa office. Does that make sense?

this means no more 0213 in NOC list, we have last chance to submit all docs within 120days. my god...
