Rules for working remotely for non Canadian employer with open work permit visa

Hi ,
I will moving to Canada on a open work permit in couple of weeks as my wife is doing her masters in Canada. However I would continue to work remotely as an IT Engineer to my present non Canadian employer.
I have couple of questions:
1)Is there any rule or registration that I need to take care while working remotely from Canada?
2)What should I be answering the CBSA while arriving to Canada ?

Any guidance will be really appreciated.

1) You don't have to register anywhere. You just have to declare your international income and pay taxes, if applicable.

2) Since you are coming for first time as dependent, they won't be asking questions about job
