RTD and National passport

Hi,

At the moment I have a RTD but I did not use it yet, I heard that when my PR application is completed I will get back my ID and national passport that was seized by CBSA when I entered Canada.

My question do I have to give back the RTD? I don't want to use my passport if I travel!!

Whats RTD and why was your passport seized?

Hi,

RTD is the refugee travel document, my passport was seized because I claimed refugee at the border.

No you dont give back your travel document. Approved refugees are are eligible to apply and travel with those.
