Just got a

Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E) request

Which I think is a remed, even after mine were approved a second time.

Hey... Was the second remed done upfront or was it requested by ADR?

I got an email stating that I had a message about my application, logged in and in the message tab the IMM1017E form was waiting for me.
You mentioned that your second remed was approved previously. Was it done upfront? If yes, when was it done?

It may be a case that your current medical is close to expiring hence they are requesting a new one... Just my thoughts...

The second remed "approval" was done out of their own volition; probably on grounds of my original one, done back in Oct 2020, which was extended sometime in 2021, as per GCMS notes. The extension may be close to expiring indeed, hence why the new exam.

Just got a POF request, a day after the remedical one. My agent number also changed from JL22309 to RK19628.

Just realized that they asked for POF, PCC, Schedule A, and Remedical all within a time frame of a few months.
Basically sent the application twice, not counting the degrees, equivalences and language tests. Therefore, I expect TWO PR cards in the mail.

I was discussing a similar observation with a friend recently... Plus if we also consider the fact that most of the Mexico files were transferred in February... 6 months have past since being at RROC... Keeping with the previous standard of 6 months processing time, this month should be PPR time for us all!!! Hahahaha!

Just mind boggling trying to understand the logics of IRCC...

That IS a great observation alright, I hadn't connected the Feb-Aug dots until now. All things considered, the silver lining about this is probably the securing of our ITAs back before the system started seeing reduced draws.

gu, adr changed to 'not applicable' and background checked changed to 'Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.'....it has always been 'We are processing your background check'

Looks like they are finally touching applications transferred in feb.
