Do U know how long it will approximately take to get passport request,COPR after RPRF received?I know that is difference from case to case but maybe someone notice trend.

They booked payment today, lets see how long it will take to get COPR from today

As you know we received RPRF request on February 22 and today on ECAS status shows : Decision Made.
Probably we will get passport request and COPR soon.

Probably we will get passport request and COPR soon.

From what I've seen on this forum going back 2 months, COPR/ PPR after DM is usually within 7 days on average.

RE: PR Card and travelling

i accidentally came across your website and i am quite impressed with the questions and answers provided

i have question that i need answer to and this is very urgent

i am a British citizen/British Passport holder on work permit, applied for PR and same was approved 1 week ago

Prior to this time, i registered for a conference holding in Hawaii about 4 weeks ago, course, accommodation and flight all paid for with confirmation for each of these

When i got approved for the PR, drove to border crossing for landing few days ago because the appointment date given to do the landing inside was too long, and at the border, the work permit was taken off me after the landing document was signed.

I now realized i may not get the PR card before departing for the conference in Hawaii USA and from information gathered so far, even if i put in an application for urgent processing of the PR card, pay extra for it, i still mat not get it and i have paid close to $CD 6000 for all the expenses

I naturally do not need PR to travel to USA as my British passport covers me for this, my concern is when coming back to Canada, can i use my proof of confirmation of COPR, Landing paper and the date of landing stamped on my passport to return to Canada??

I also realized that the temporary travelling documents is for people outside Canada
