In general,after IP if any doc is missing they will request you the missed documents...if not next step is passport request

It also means that the interview is waived

In my case after 3 weeks they request the missing documents(certificates) and then the next week i got PPR ...4 weeks in total.Pretty fast!!! In general when your ECAS is updated IP it means that you are not going through an interview...but its not 100% sure

Hi everyone! Does anyone know based on previous experience how many days do they need in general to issue the visa & turn back your pass? I m trying to book the flight but i dont know how many days to calculate approximately ???

Hi Guys,
I am a new member of this forum and i am very happy I found it. I am from Rome and I got married with my wife in Toronto on last April. We submitted our application for PR card under the family category (with me living outside Canada).
We sent the whole package to CPC Mississauga on Jul 22nd and on Sep 4th my wife received 2 emails: 1st one saying the package has been received and the 2nd one saying "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor".
Of course we are very happy ab that and it sounds like great news.

I took a look on this forum and I would like to ask you guys a couple of questions:
- Is this email we received the AOR?
- What should I expect next?

As you can understand we are very anxious and nervous about how long the all process is gonna take, but reading about all your experiences it looks like it's going to take less than 13 months if the application is correct and no issues are found.

So now your file is transferred in Rome so next step is you will wait until your file is in process (you need to check ECAS using your uci or file number).

are they going to send you email for each update? like once the documents will be transferred to Rome... or it's only available on the ECAS? Now on ECAS it only says application received...As i saw here in the forum it's normal...so I keep my finger crossed as usual!

Nope...You need to check ECAS for the updates...Did they mention in SA email that documents are transferred in Rome? After that they are not going to send emails for each update...They will send you email if they require additional documents. Did ECAS show medicals received?

No they didn't mention about the documents transfer...and ECAS doesnt show medicals received...I did the medical check in April, so I just hope everything is ok. They told me they would have sent the medical results automatically..

I hope also it's a good thing we received the AOR and the SA right the same day...I saw on the spreadsheet that somebody got the SA even after a month. Of course we all have different cases...

Anyway I always try to be positive...luckily I see my wife often..

Be positive but stay realistic Everything will go well Yes they sent the medical results automatically! My hubby received SA next day after receiving AOR...so as you can see one case is different from the other but if you have a straight forward case Rome is a pretty fast VO. Then my status changed IN PROCESS in the same time with the feb applicants even if i am a march applicant...so you will have surprises as well during the process.

Oh well..our case is very straight forward I guess...and I am really surprised to see that you and other people are almost done with the process!
Honestly today, while I was reading this forum, I was very happy!
