I'm sure it's fine because it's still a credit card. I remember when I did my passport renewal, I paid with a pre-paid cc.

hi Panos. Send just a printed copy. We sent it by courier express and in 2 days was there. We also sent prepaid envelope for return. It came back two days after.

Hi everyone!

I'm collecting all the documents for the application, my Canadian common-law partner is sponsoring me. I have a question regarding the statutory declaration of common-law union. the CIC doesn't require it if there is no co-signer in the application, but I have read many contrasting opinions of people who had to send it anyway at a later date... Apparently it may depend on the visa office, so I was wondering if anyone here has had issues with it?

Hello Federica! The statutory declaration is not a mandatory document. I didn't include it in my application but they reqursted it 8 months later approximately. It's very easy to do it and it cost almost nothing! If you want to avoid any delay provide it with your app.
I think I am the only one here who was asked to provide it.
