Rogers smart home monitoring..

I bought a place in which seller is in contract with Rogers for smart home monitoring.

My question is if I don't takeover contract from seller would the thermostat and smoke detector that he got from rogers under the contract still work? I know it wont be smart anymore but will it at least work like the regular ones.

I reached out to Rogers and got mixed answers. So wanted to hear from someone who experienced it?

You should be asking the seller how they have wired and set up the home. There are various levels of making your home “smart”.
