Returning back to Canada

I need information that I must do in order to return to Canada, since on July 1, 2003, my family and I made a request for refuge and I was four years old when that happened. The request was denied, therefore we had to leave Canada obeying the immigration laws on the correct date January 4, 2006. We have an excellent relationship with Canada and we want to visit but we need positive authorization.
I tried applying for eTa but it got rejected. Also, I was looking for more information about this and it said that I must go to the port of entry (the airport) to able to solve it there. For that, do I need to get a temporal residence visa? And what do I have to do in the port of entry? Does anyone have this experience before? I'd like to know!

1. Did your removal order turn into a deportation order? If so, then you need an ARC to return to Canada
2. Unlikely to get an ARC to visit.
3. With a refugee claim, it is unlikely that your family would be issued an ETA. With no ETA or TRP you won't be boarding any flights.

1. We left Canada on the correct date that the departure order told us to. So I don't think that it turned into a deportation order.
2. I saw on the Inmigration website, saying that the ones who left Canada no more than 30 days, don't need an ARC to visit.
3. I tried applying for an eTA and showed them our departure order documents to make sure if we're okay to enter to Canada, but it got rejected. That's why I'm asking if I need to get a TRP to able to go to the port of entry to able to solve this situation.

1. You can't "sort it out" at port of entry. You will have to sort it out at an overseas office to see if they will issue you a TRP to visit Canada.

You can't "solve this at the airport". You need to have an approved visa before you can go to the airport and board a plane to Canada.

Generally speaking, it's usually extremely difficult / impossible to return to Canada as a visitor after a failed refugee claim.

You can certainly try applying for a Temporary Resident Permit and see what happens.

It may not be possible for you to return to Canada as a visitor (or any other temporary status). If you wish to return to Canada, it's quite possible your only option will be to apply to immigrate through an economic immigration program like Express Entry.
