Returned spousal application

Hey everyone,
After long waiting called CIC and they told me my application have been returned, she couldn't say exactly what was the problem.
What i want to know, how long does it take for them to send the AOR for the new application?
Does it mean to wait again the whole time or is it faster?
Much appreciated for any information.

Process will officially count from the time you received your AOR and it states there when they received your Application so it makes sense.

If by process you mean processing times (ie when the 12 month count starts), that starts when they receive the application, not when the applicant receives the AOR.

I meant does it take them to send me the AOR also within 6-8 weeks or will it be faster?

I originally sent my app in October. they sent it back on the day that would have been aor. that was 75 days.
I resent my app immediately after receiving it, and they received it Jan 17th. I got my aor Monday. it was only 45 days this time around, so a lot faster than the first time. Good luck!

You have to start from the beginning. Its faster at the start of the year before they start heading out on vacation. Mine was returned twice starting form June 2018. I just received AOR after third try last saturday.

I hoped it would. I was really upset when I found out it was coming back. in my experience it was a lot shorter the second time, and I wanted you to know, as to give u some hope. Good luck!

no where do I see where you would need to include travel history in the application...?
