AOR Received.
11-07-2018
I had applied for sponsoring my husband near the end of April. I received my whole package back today stating that we were missing 1 signature. We corrected the problem and resent the package. So will my application be reviewed as a new application and the processing time starts from the beginning or will my application be looked at from where it was left off. In other words, we've waited just over a month already, so will the time we waited be all for nothing?

From the beginning. An application that is returned as "incomplete" will not be registered and will be treated as a new submission. Sorry....

When did you send it? And inland or outland?

Unfortunately, it will start from beginning. It will be treated as a new application received on new date. May I ask, what was the exact date they received your application when you initially applied? Inland or outland?

Sad to hear that.
May I ask which signature was missing? On which form?

Yeah, it is really lame. They restart the process. We are likely in same position as you for a country specific document we didn’t think we needed. Highly likely that the whole package will be sent back to us. Ours was received May 11th so they haven’t looked at it yet but when they do, it’s almost 100% guaranteed to be sent back.

Hi, I have an application that was listed as received on CAS on March 26th. On CAS it says 'Application Received' and 'Medical Exam' received as I submitted that upfront. However the mailing address they input is incorrect. It's been over 8 weeks now since I submitted and I haven't received an AOR yet so my concern is they sent the application back but because the address was wrong, I didn't receive it.

My question is do you know if is tells you on the Case Application Status (CAS) tool if your application has been sent back? Or do you only know that its been sent back when it arrives in the mail?

Safe to say that if its showing on ECAS its not coming back.

Have you submitted a web form enquiry re the address. Or called?

Okay, great. Thanks for that info.
I was on the phone all day trying to get through to mississauga case processing centre but couldn't connect due to high wait times.
I didn't know you could do a web form inquiry. I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply, I sent it originally on April 24th then again on May 29th, I received AOR on June 13th :)
