Hi,
I want to get your input here.

A relative sent his application and it got returned in 10 days (missed a signature) and the application wasn't an Urgent Processing one. I'm fully aware of the application as I helped preparing it and I saw the return note too.

For most of the people here, the application get returned in around 2 months.

all applications are handled in same location till the AOR, so is there a reason for this?

I don't get the issue here. Are you unhappy the IRCC didn't waste 2-3 months of your (relative's) time and pointed your mistake earlier than expected?

No bro, I'm looking for a pattern so everyone on this forum would know if they have to do or avoid something that may save\waste 2-3 months.

maybe its caught in first level screening as signature is an obvious thing that they will look for after opening the package.

Forgot to mention that when they returned the application they mentioned that only the wife application needs thus signature, the husband application is complete, so I wouldn't think they do different levels of screening.

Any other thoughts?

Urgent processing applications are dealt mostly within first week of arrival for AOR. There's no sketch here it's absolutely fine the way CIC responded to the application.

Yes I totally agree about the Urgent Processing point.
But I see the other application has a similar return time although not an Urgent one, where for most of the people reported that it would take 2 months. thoughts?

As previously mentioned you should be happy it got returned sooner than later...imagine having to wait for about 3 months or more only to get the application returned? So look on the bright side..atleast it got returned quick so just fix whatever needs to be fixed and send it again. Nobody can give u a definate answer as to why it got returned so quick.
