No worries! Thank you, it worked!

The MP’s office was really helpful! I received an email from the London, ON office asking me to pick up my passport on the 16th. Since I’ve moved to BC, I asked them to send it to an office closer to me, so I’m just waiting for it now!

I’m so glad that once I get my passport back, I can finally put this whole thing behind me. I’m officially a Canadian citizen now, so hopefully this is my last time dealing with IRCC!

For anyone wondering even if you’re a PR, you can request your passport back. Just don’t use it to travel until you become a Canadian citizen.

Friends, if at all possible, do not use your passport to travel to or return to your country of origin, don’t take that risk.
