Hi all,

Iam confused: I copied the text from the website, but Iam sure most of you have read it before. I understand I can not apply anymore hubby thinks I can till January. I hope someone can clear the situation for me.

Apply under the Canadian Experience Class
Note: As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 8,000 for new Canadian Experience Class applications. There are also sub-caps of 200 for each National Occupational Classification B applications. These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015.
You cannot use work experience in the following occupations to qualify for the CEC:
Cooks (NOC 6322)
Food service supervisors (NOC 6311)
Administrative officers (NOC 1221)
Administrative assistants (NOC 1241)
Accounting technicians and bookkeepers (NOC 1311)
Retail sales supervisors (NOC 6211)
In addition, we are not accepting online payments for permanent residence applications under the Canadian Experience Class at this time.

Unfortunately, you are correct, occupations under the NOC 6211 are currently not eiligible under the CEC program. But the NOC is not excluded under other programs, you can check your eligibility under PNP, Federal Skilled Worker...

As of January 1, there are no excluded occupations for CEC. So yes, you can now apply (through express entry) with that NOC.

Hello jes_ON I am also a retail sales supervisor and I have almost one year experience I am going to apply BC PNP but recently they increased processing times form 9 months to 13 months so I am thinking about applying under CEC also with Retail Sales Supervisor (NOC 6211) so can I apply ?I want to know is this occupation not any more ineligible under CEC in new Express Entry ? where did u read it you have any kind of link or any website where did they tell that what they exclude and what they include ?

Hello, I know it has been long time ago you asked this question. But I have seen although you applied under NOC of category 0, you went through the process of PNP. Was it anything wrong with applying under EE extreme? These NOC are still not eligible?
