Restoration as Student from within Canada from PGWP

Hi There,
I am on implied status pending any eligibility of FSW (2014) or LMIA approved.. I am afraid I will be going to restoration in a while. My question is, should no other option open up for me, can I apply for a student permit from canada (along with restoration fee)?

I am asking since I am confused as to whether a new student permit can be applied for from within canada.

What do you mean when you say that you are on implied status? Applying for FSW doesn't give you implied status in Canada. Did you also apply for a BOWP before your work permit expired?

I applied for a work permit extension before my visa expired.. it is still being processed.. I am on implied status until then..
