Hi, I arrived here in Canada on December 25, 2019. I am an international student. I'm not working yet for obvious reasons but I was full of hope of getting a part-time job. Is there assistance for people like me with the same concern? Does CERB can help us too?

There is no assistance available to you. As an international student, the expectation is that you brought sufficient funds with you to cover both your living and tuition expenses.

CERB is only for those who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 so you do not qualify.
