We (My self, wife and my elder son) are Canadian PR since March 3, 2014. Our younger son was born in Canada and he is a Canadian Citizen. Since my wife's health is not in a good condition and we don't have much relatives and friends here in Canada, my wife and kids are going back to India and I will stay in Canada. My question is once I become a Canadian Citizen, is it true that my elder son (He is 4 years old) doesn't have to meet the residency obligation to become a Canadian Citizen and he can apply for the Canadian Citizenship with me? If that's the case then I am planning to bring my wife and kids at the time of applying my Citizenship and send them back once my elder son got Canadian Citizenship. So could you guys please let us know Canadian Immigration rules allow this or not?
