    • Hello,

We have lived in Canada now for 2 years in last 5 years, from 01 Jun 2012 and want to apply for PR card renewal -
My question is that how do I prove that I entered Canada on 01Jun 2012 as there is no stamp on my passport. We initially lived with my relative for about 3 months and have no rental agreement or documented records.

All my documented evidences of my stay here started from 01Sep2012, since we got our driver license, kids started school, we rented the place and also started with jobs.

For first three months I only have a few things in mind - would they help???

      * Bank may write that we opened bank account on 02June2012
      * My cousin may write that we stayed with him for 3 months as guest
      * I bought a cell phone, where they hit my credit score and I have the agreement papers

Please advise, what is the way to go!!!!!
      Thanks.

  • Unless you are in a hurry to leave the country again, you should wait until you have solid evidence of the full 730 days in Canada and a nice pad of days on top of that. Because you have little to prove you were in Canada for the first 3 months, it may trigger an RQ from them which is going to extend your timeline but quite a lot.
