Requirement of IMM5257 (application for TRV) when applying for study permit through SDS

Hi. I am applying to the IRCC for my study permit for the first time. On the document upload page, one of the optional documents is IMM5257 - the application for temporary resident visa (trv) - it says upload if applicable. How do i know whether it is applicable to me and whether I need to upload?

I ready somewhere that if i am applying for my study permit, my visitor visa will be automatically granted if my study permit is approved and I do not have to apply separately for it. Does this mean that I do not need to submit the IMM5257

Imm5257b is Mendatory for applications outside Canada
