Required work experience in Canada - not met

Hi,
According to my recent CAIPS notes, my file was updated a month back. According to that, the field "Required Work Experience in Canada" has the value "Not met". Can someone explain what this means?

I have not received any email or letter from CIC yet (its been a month since my file was updated). Should I send anything to CIC without they asking for it? Any ideas are welcome... I'm kind of tired and frustrated so any help will be appreciated.

If you could give us a little more information (NOC, how long job was done for, hours worked, FT, did you go to uni in canada, did you provide a ref. letter etc) - you will get a better answer!
