Hello and I hope you will excuse my excess amount of posts lately! I am in Canada on my last trip before sending out my application. I would really like to get the required photos, both medical and other application photos here while they are cheaper! Unfortunately I cannot access PDF files on the internet on my phone and I have no way to get the internet while I am here. If you would be so kind I would like to know how many photos total that I need and their sizes or whatever I need to tell the photographer. I am staying in the outskirts of Toronto are there any stores you would recommend? Thank you in advance, it would be so great to have this finished here!

I hate to bother you again but are the medical pics the same size as the immigration specifics you posted there?

You know i just realized the link says the chin to crown needs to be between 31 and 36 mm but the appendix you copied and pasted says the chin to crown size needs to be between 25 and 30 mm! Do you know which is correct?

I noticed the conflicting information as well and don't know which to follow. If someone could comment with the correct information that would be great.

Here are the two different sets of instructions:

I am assuming it is 25 mm and 30 mm. Any thoughts?

yes, it really sounds confusing, I would make pictures according to Country Specific Instructions, at least this way they will have to accept it without any problems

Thanks again suin! I figured afterward that the country specific 25 by 30 mm was most likely the best option but you know how it is, its scary to think you might mess up a small detail like that! Thank you.

you are welcome, nyssa. actually there's not much problem with required photos. in case they don't like it, they will ask for a new set and it will not affect your application at all. only time and money wasted.
my choice would be to send them according to Country Specific Instructions, as these are the instructions of that visa office who will deal with your application.
have a good luck.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/photospecs.asp is the wrong format. That is for visas, not for PR applications.

Quick question to follow up! I am at Costco now in Canada. They charge 7 dollars per set of 2 pictures. I need 4 to send with my application and 5 for my medical which is being done in the US, is that correct?
