Hello :)
I am a Canadian who live in Belgium since more than 10 years
I want to sponsor my common-law partner. Our goal is to arrive in Canada seems to settle in Quebec province (only )
i will provide "proof" for my intention to stay in the province of Quebec...

Is this true that I do not have to fill/provide
- IMM 5481 (sponsorship evaluation , not necessasry for Quebec... .true ?) ,
- IMM 1283 ((we have no child, not for us) ,
- Option-C print (not exist in belgium) , Job contract proof... (my belgium boss will kill me !)

since my intention is to go back in province of Quebec ?

Thank !!

Hey there,

It's been a while since you posted this but I hope you reply.

I'm in the same situation I don't really know weather I need to fill out IMM5481, what did you do? We are outside Canada and are going to live in Quebec. But it says people LIVING in Quebec don't need to fill it but it doesn't say anything for those of us INTENDING to live in Quebec.

Thanks in advance.

Okay.

So, since you will be landing in Quebec and living there, you do not need IMM5481.

As for the letter, you need to prove you WILL move there. Rental agreement, letter from employer that you will be working for in Canada etc. Just solid proof that you will move back to Canada with your spouse. The other thing is you need proof that you have enough to support your family for as long as needed. Paystubs and any tax information you have from your country you're living in right now, is proof of that.

I hope that helped! :)
