Careful planning can help people manage budgets, avoid unexpected shortfalls, and keep spending aligned with their goals. For those interested in entertainment platforms, https://holyspin.info/ can be a resource to explore while comparing options. As with any online activity, reviewing costs, terms, payment methods, and responsible spending practices beforehand can make financial decisions clearer and more manageable.

For applications received on or after September 1, 2026 (studying outside Quebec), IRCC's living-cost amount for 2 people (you + your spouse) is CAD $29,192. That is only living costs. On top of it you need your first-year tuition and travel costs for both of you.
So a rough total = first-year tuition + 29,192 + flights.
A few tips that help with a couple's application:
  • Show where the money comes from: 4-6 months of bank statements, plus the source of any large deposit.
  • If you use an education loan, include the sanction letter showing the amount and that it is disbursed for your program.
  • If parents or relatives sponsor you, add a support letter, proof of relationship and their income documents.
  • A GIC is no longer mandatory (SDS ended Nov 2024), but it is an easy way to prove the living-cost part.
  • Paying first-year tuition in advance and attaching the receipt is one of the strongest pieces of evidence.
  • Explain your spouse's plans and your ties to home in your letter of explanation as well.
If you're going to Quebec, the figures are different (CAD $34,814 for two people, 2026).
Always double-check the IRCC page before you submit.
