Require help to show finances for Visa

Hi.

I have received admit from UWaterloo. CAD 6500/term( Max 4 terms). I ll need around 17 L for the entire program. I am taking a loan of 10L. Planning to purchase GIC and remaining will show from my father's funds. Will this be enough to apply for visa??

Note: Fee details are not mentioned in my offer letter. I have to look up from the university website.

The money in your account should show sufficient funds to cover all your expenses during your stay in canada, which is, your tuition fee plus extra $10000 for living expense for a year. This money should be in your account since you will be accessing from it during your time in canada. I don't know if I am entirely right but that's what I have heard so far.
