Requesting ATIP notes

Is there a charge for requesting ATIP notes?
What kind of information does it provide in terms of citizenship application? Does it specify why there is a delay?

its free. not much info. it does not let you know the reason for delay. it does get attention by cic.

under the privacy act it is free...
It has the exact timeline of your application from the date of acknowledgement...
along with any notes and the stage your application is at...
It will not specify the reasons for delay etc...

When I was requesting ATIP online it asked me for $5
