Hi guys,

I have recently received a request from IRCC to resubmit my Certificate of Clearance for Singapore. So a quick background on the issue. Me and my spouse came to Singapore (on short visit visa) before our residency passes were issued.

  • Me - Arrived Singapore on short visit pass - XXJune 2013
    • Residence pass issued - YY July 2013
  • My spouse - Arrived Singapore on short visit pass - AA April 2016
    • Residence Pass issued - BB May 2016
Now the issue is that Singapore Police Force (SPF) is not able to issue me a COC/PCC which covers the dates I was in Singapore for my initial days on Short visit visa. The period is roughly 2-3 weeks. SPF's reasoning is that they can only issue for the period once a Foreign Identification Number (FIN#) has been issued.

I have already explained this issue upfront in my letter of explanation (LOE) during the submission of my PR application (after ITA) and still received the request to resubmit an updated COC/PCC.

Is any one able to advise what am I supposed to do in this situation? Should I just PDF my correspondence email and upload back to my application? Not sure if that will help as I have already highlighted the issue in my LOE.

Is there any contact email or helpline number where I can reach out?

Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
