Request of Passport and payment for landing

I did my Medicals on the 1st of July 2010 and waiting for passport request from Ankara consulate. My question is whether the Embassy would instruct me in writing to pay for landing fees once processing of my case has been completed.

If not instructed, I can not make the payment. Can I ?

Is the instruction for payment for landing coming at the same time with the request of passports ? I presume they will give me an bank account number and detail the payment sum specifically for my case.

I believe that it'll turn up with ur ppr letter. Instructions will be given in the letter as to how to pay your fee.

Yes that's what I thought but what confused me is the FAQ from Ankara Embassy website. If my English is not failing me it says we will request the passport once payment for landing has been received.


How long does it take to receive the passport letter after completing the medical exam and paying the Right of Permanent Residence fee?

The letter requesting submission of passports for visa issuance will normally be issued within 30 days of the Embassy receiving final medical results for all family members, and receiving payment of the RPRF.


On the other hand this is a second FAQ from the same page. According to this they will be instructing me to make the payment for landing.

Conflicting info. Isn't it ?

The Right of Permanent Residence fee can be paid at the same time as the processing fee when you submit your application or at any time during the processing of your application. Once the processing of your application has been completed, we will ask you to pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee if you have not already done so. Your visa will be issued only when you have paid the Right of Permanent Residence fee.

I would suggest you to Pay your RPRF (Landing Fee) As Soon as possible to speed up the process of your case. Don't wait for instructions.

How can I do that if I do not know the bank account number of the Embassy ?

Rprf is to be paid as follows. it is cad 490 per person but anyone below 21 yrs need not have to pay this.
Make a bank draft payable in Canadian dollars to RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA.
See that u write ur name , file no, address at the back of the draft .
Then courier this to ur visa office .
