Rent a Car to Cross Border

Hello Friends,

I want to rent a car to cross the border lets say from seattle to vancouver (one way) - I will drop the car in Vancouver. Do I have to go to US immigration (because of rental car) or just keep on moving to the Canadian Immigration for landing. Will Canadian immigration ask me or create probem because the car was rented in US? Just silly questions, but I wanted to ensure first.

I am unsure on what to do, like if I have to go through the US immigration first. FYI, I am moving for good so I don't have to come back and return the car back in seattle.

I don't think you will have any problems, especially if you have a proof that you cab return a rented car in Canada, otherwise they can be inclined to think that you will have to return to the US.
