I obtained Canadian PR Card in 18 April 2007. Then I couldn’t live in Canada because of family conditions.

I lost my father and my mother was diabetic. She needed my help so I got back to Turkey. Upon returning to Turkey I got a job offer from Balkupu. And I worked there from September 2007 to march 2009. After that I received a job offer from Konya Seker Company as Logistics Manager and have been working there since May 2009.

I got married 2010 and have a 10 month old daughter

Me and My wife decided to get back to Canada and live there.

My PR cards’ expired date is 18 april 2012

I have 2 questions for you

1- Can I extend my PR card ?
2- Can I enter to Canada before 18 April 2012. Would be any problem at the airport?

1. No
2. They will let you into Canada. However immigration may report you for failing to meet residency obligations. If you are reported by immigration, then you will have to appear in front of a judge to argue why you should be allowed to retain your residency status. (Note that a sick parent can be a good reason for failing to meet residency obligations. However having a job somewhere else is not regarded as a reason.) If you are not reported by immigration, then you should remain in Canada (without leaving for even one day) until you have met the residency obligation of 730 days in the last five years. Once you have met residency obligations, you can submit an application to renew your PR card.
