hi, did someone had to do medicals once again because they were expired?I am asking because I am an August 2014 applicant, we have done our medicals in April 2015 and still waiting for final decision. My medicals will expired in 3 months and I am pregnant now.I will not be able to do X- ray if they will ask to do medicals once again....

Someone posted last week (or may be week before) they received a request for an updated Medical, according to this person the request came after 11 months ofter the 1st one was done. Person may me residing outside of Canada (not 100% sure).

1. The unlikely, as you are in Canada, the VO will probably just have the MO extend it.

I tried 3 times and every single time I got "due to high volume of calls we cannot transfer you to an agent.." I'll keep trying.

I finally got through to them and:
* all medicals expire after 12 months - regardless if they are upfront or not
* if your medicals expire before the decision is made you may be asked to do them again - this is purely at the discretion of the agent reviewing the file
* if you have left Canada since you've done your medicals or applied for PR from outside Canada it's more likely for you to be asked to do medicals again
