Does anybody recieved a remedical request recently?
My initial medical expired on 8th Feb 2020. And as per call centre agent, everything passed except medical, and I am waiting for re-medical request since last couple of months.
Anyone else having similar situation? Or any suggestions?

CEC inland, Aor 7th Nov 2019.

thanks!

I just received my GCMS notes, and looks like they wanted to verify my employment with my employer (random, unlucky check).

Hi everyone, I have received my notes (my medical expired on 20th March), from the notes it looks like everything is passed , the only thing pending is of course the medical expired.
I saw a note from the agent on 24th June : medical expired, to be sent as soon as possible
but I never received any request for remed, would it be by email or on my profile

For those who received a remed request, do you see it on your account ?

@Y@sh still no update from them ? you passed everything (eligibility, security,...) ?

We received it via email, and also as a message in our profile. However, after passing our re-medical on Feb 28th, the file is not moving again. I called them couple of times, and I was told that everything has passed on my application, just the final review is pending. I assume the delay is due to COVID.

Not all applicants are required to have a remed. Some applicants will get their meds extended. However, if you do wish to get a remed, there is no harm.

Thanks a ton @legalfalcon . But I checked with the approved medical center and they said that the Re-medical can happen only post we get a request (IMM forms) in the online account.

That is both, right and wrong. When you get a re-med request, you can surely get another medicals done. However, if you wish to get one done on your own accord, you can do it too, just like you did before you submitted your application. The panel physician will give you an upfront sheet, the same you received when you did you medicals pre-submission, and you can send that via webform.

Most panel physicians will not ask for a letter from IRCC. If the panel physician insists, then you will have to wait for a re-med request or find another one.
