Hi,

I received my approval for my 18-month PGWP extension public policy but I am not sure if it's indeed an independent 18-month PGWP extension or is it a spousal work permit that is dependent to my spouse's study permit.

In my approved work permit there is this.
Remarks/ Observations:
TEMPORARY RESIDENT STATUS MAINTAINED AS PER R183(6).
ACCOMPANYING FAMILY MEMBER ON DOCUMENT VALID TO SAME DATE.

Spouse's Study Permit
Conditions:
1. MUST LEAVE CANADA BY (given date)
2. UNLESS AUTHORIZED, PROHIBITED FROM ATTENDING ANY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OR TAKING ANY ACADEMIC, PROFESSIONAL OR VOCATIONAL TRAINING COURSE.
3. NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT IN BUSINESSES RELATED TO THE SEX TRADE SUCH AS STRIP CLUBS, MASSAGE PARLOURS OR ESCORT SERVICES.

Remarks/ Observations:
TEMPORARY RESIDENT STATUS MAINTAINED AS PER R183(5). ACCOMPANYING SPOUSE ON WORK PERMIT VALID TO SAME DATE.
