Hi Guys, I received the EOR result.... no change.

It took 19 days and it was the ELA Auckland test center. I felt kind of annoyed by the service there as only once I sent a couple of emails and pushed a little bit receive an answer. It felt a little bit like they had the result and didn't posted it.

Anyway, it happens and there's no other choice but keep improving. I'll try CBT next time to get faster results and hopefully will be my second and last try.

Original scores: LRWS 8.5-7.5-6.5-8.0

Hello guys. I took the exam last October 26, 2019 Academic.
I got my results on November 8, 2019
Listening 7.5
Reading 7
Writing 6.5

but in Speaking I got 6.5 ( I need 7 band score). The speaking test went well.
Part 1 I managed to answer all questions with examples and etc.

Part 2 I talked for 2 minutes, thou I got a little bit off topic

Part 3 I stuttered with one question

I applied for re-marking last November 9, 2019. Hoping for an increase

What is the chance of increasing to 0.5?

Anyone applied for re-marking in Speaking?
I applied before through IDP and got 0.5 band increased. Speaking is fine no need to worry.

I appeared in IELTS GT for 6 times:

Paper Based IELTS:

1st attempt (BC KSA): May 2018 - LRWS: 7.5/8.5/6.5/7

2nd attempt (IDP KSA): July 2018 - LRWS: 9/7.5/6.5/7 - after lots of preparation (applied for Writing EOR - unsuccessful; which is okay as i know i went off the topic)

3rd attempt (IDP KSA): Dec 2018 - LRWS: 8.5/8/6.5/6.5 (practiced a lot for writing, but same result) - applied for EOR for Writing and Speaking - Speaking result changed from 6.5 to 7.0. Writing unchanged. For speaking i was initially expecting 7.5 at least, so 6.5 was a surprise.

Computer Based:

4th attempt (BC Pakistan): June 2019 - LRWS: 7.5/9/6.5/7 - messed up in listening as it was first time for computer based and the map was really difficult.

5th attempt (BC Pakistan): August 2019 - LRWS: 8/8/6.5/7 - i did lots of practice for writing though, even got my writing assessed by an ex-IELTS examiner, and was expecting 7.0 in writing. Applied for EOR. Results unchanged!

6th attempt: Oct 2019 (IDP KSA) - LRWS: 9/8.5/6.5/6.5 (for speaking the examiner was same who gave 6.5 earlier, so i was sure that if i apply for EOR my score will change to 7.0. So i applied for EOR in both Writing and Speaking. For both score changed from 6.5 to 7.0. So finally i am able to get 9/8.5/7/7. To be honest, i appeared for this test without any preparation. Nothing at all. I did nothing different. Everything from my side was same. For writing i believe, its more linked with who is going to mark your paper. I am not demotivating anyone, but a real frustration for me was how could i get 6.5 in my first attempt with no preparation and same 6.5 in my 5th attempt with lots of hard work.

Anyway, for me computer based ILETS worked quite well, specially for writing part. Listening is some what difficult to manage in computer based IELTS (specially maps are confusing, as u can't move your pen/pencil on screen to identify a spot, as you can do on paper).

Best of luck!
