What can i do to relocate to Canada with my family - alot of people says to me that as british citizen you can just apply for the work permit, but i dont really understand how it works and the process/procedure

Any advise please

No - it doesn't work that way. British citizens have no special rights. Anyone who is telling you this doesn't know what they are talking about. In order to qualify for a work permit you must first obtain a permanent job offer in Canada. That employer must then obtain an approved LMIa (permission to hire you). The LMIA process is costly ($1K) and time consuming (6-16+ weeks of processing time). Plus, the employer must prove that no Canadian could be hired for the role. Consequently it tends to be quite difficult to find an employer in Canada willing to go through the process
