Very interesting.......never heard long distance relationship do cooking and dating-- sounds very sweet and cute. ;D Most likely, my honey and me do skype everyday 2-3 hours a day. Our time difference is big. If morning here, there night. So all we do is skype and fb. ;D :p ;D

Thanks for everyone's experience, it's nice to hear. I didn't realize it was going to be so hard to be apart, which sounds kind of dumb, I just thought if i kept busy enough, time would go fast. And that does work sometimes, but other times there is not enough busyness in the world to distract me!

We have been apart for 3 months now with no end in sight (and no visit currently planned). I am so grateful for Skype, imessage, email and magicjack! We talk and text all throughout the day. I can't imagine going through this process 10-15 years ago before all this wonderful technology!! ;D

This is a special period in the marriage and I advice every one to enjoy it's benefits, . in real life, you might not have the chance to experience romance and communication as well as you do now.
This is SO true! I never did find the right way, or right thread to say "Enjoy it while you can" . . . to someone pining for their loved one, figured they just wouldn't "get it".

My husband and i talk about winning the lottery . I have dual citizenship and he is in the U.k. so visa exempt . We dream about not having to have all this worry about getting his P.r. and we just spend 6 months in each country .

The hardest part is when you have functions or parties or a family get together you want to be together . When one of you aren't feeling so well is hard to , thats when i feel it the most . I keep busy by going to the local pool and my job is time consuming . I do it now , but i know i won't like it as much when he arrives as i want to spend every day with him and every minute catching up with life . We are in our 50's and second marriage ... I joke saying hope he gets here before i'm in a home lol ...
