Related to entry in canada before the session starts

Hello...
I am having student visa and i am going to Canada B.C for september intake .
My orientation is on 22august and my classes will start on 4th of september
I want to know that how many time before my session i can enter in Canada as i want to go there in first or second week of month of july . Is it possible? If yes what are the cases or theres no problem ...

As long as visa is valid you can enter canada, remember you are not allowed to work before school starts, you might be asked how you are going to support yourself so have proof of funds.
