Registering a Car using USA drivers license

Hi,

I just moved to Quebec as a PR and I'm now planning to buy a car using my US license as it'd take me a little while to get a Quebec drivers license

My question here is if I can register my car using an american drivers license or do I need to have a Quebec license to do that ?

If it's the same as Ontario, I think that it has to be Canadian licence, probably from the same province as the registration.

You should be able to exchange a US driver licence for a Quebec licence right away.
