Registered Nurses (CAP Reached)

hi,

how would i know if the application i sent last dec 22 made it to the CAP for nurses? The cic updated the list also on the same day which btw was the date my application has been received.

If it reached on 22nd Dec, there are chances that you have missed the deadline. Cause if the file is received on X Date, it gets registstered on X+1 date. Also the data that was uploaded was till 22nd Dec but the cap may have reached on 18th Dec itself.

I think the only confirmation can come from CIC, you may have to wait for about a month

hello, I have the same problem too. We send our papers on October 29, 2010. Did it reach the cap for nurses? tank u and Godblless.

hi,

i think u made it to the CAP for nurses i think it has reached 500 by that time. if u want you can check your bank draft if it has been encashed or if you submitted your credit card details if it has been deducted.

i have read that the CIO encashed the bank draft after 1 to 1.5 months. (not really sure) or you can email them check the CIC site on where to email.

my application was stated by the courrier website to have reached the CIC in Halifax canada on the 20th december which was a monday and goin by the posts they say the count could have reached 1000 by the 18th of december itself ...it is giving me sleepless nites even thinking of having missed the count for just a couple of days....anyways just hoping and praying for the best in the best favour of all in this situation as me ....coz believe me having to wait for a confirmation from the CIC for a month is not keeping me at ease ...anyways...well i did d best i cud and leaving God the rest....

hi is think we have the same concern we can only hope and pray that our applications made it to the cap. think positive. btw what agency/consultancy helped you in your application i applied at canadian immigration consultancy at moa. para ngang naging fault nila kya tumagal ung pgsesend ng application ko. mayb we can email the cio by feb 2nd week ibabalik nmn dw agad ung application kng di xa umabot sbi din ng cic na ung 1000 cap di dw lhat un positive assessment mern din n nadedeny so nkapila padin cguro somehow ung papers ntin. - miguel

hi i think what we can do is to consult with the bank fr which we purchased our bank drafts. we can check if the money was encashed by the cio. but to be sure we can check after 1.5 months based on the thread on this forom. - miguel

we have the same agency cic din kami. kami din kaya na delay coz of them. ol i tot they had already processed it but they didnt yet coz there were missing docs and only notified us by 3rd week of october. hopefully there will be no problems. i will try to ask the bank if the bankdraft was encashed.by the way the agency asked us to submit an original docs but they did not submit it yet coz they're wating for confirmation from nova scotia if it is really needed. when i try to ask the agency they're answer is that they do'nt know. tanx miguel.-marjay

....hi i read from your post about your case reaching the cap..we have the same agency, i also encounter that problem...noc1122 ang code ko. kinulit ko sila ng kinulit tapos we signed the application oct 13 pero yung report nila na dinala sa nova scotia oct 23 lang, natanggap sa nova scotia oct 28..tapos nagclose ang noc 1122 nov 3, 2010..nabasa ko sa ibang forum may mga nareject na oct 29 at meron din oct 28 ..i just hope nakahabol ako. up to now lagi akong nagtatanong sa kanila. what form of payment ka? sabi kasi pag na encashed na payment at least kahit papaano may assurance na. bpi bank draft ang payment ko..sabi ng cic sa moa wala daw paraan para malaman..pero ang ginawa ko nagpatulong ako sa kakilala ko sa bpi mga next week malalaman ko kung naencashed na..sana naman we reached the quota and be approved..sobra nakakakaba..let's just hope and pray..god will make a way...think positive...happy new year!!!

the original docs are supposed to be submitted to the visa office (after conirmation from nova scotia) bka pnapaready lng. ang naging problem ko with cic was the jd reviewr it took her forever to finish my jd. let's try to follow up with the bank after 1.5 months from date na nrecv ng canada ung application. -miguel

hi bank draft din ako ngpay but for me it's too early to follow up with bpi. cguro ikaw pwede na and maybe positive ung case mo kc sbi din sa ibang thread na the cio responds to the application within 1 to 2 months that is if u did not make it to the cap. let's be positive kc if we don't make it now mas mahirap next yr kc july p mgbubukas and were not sure if our noc would still be included. please let me know if naencash ung bd mo from bpi, good luck. - miguel

hi..ako rin yun din ang case ko sobrang tagal ng pag gawa ng jd pero sabi ng iba madali daw ngayon kasi dati wala pa internet system(from my friends who went through cic 10 years ago..kada changes daw punta sila nag punta sa washington tower sa revisons )tapos bigla last minute kailangan pala ng notice of no marriage yung 18 years old kong anak...kaya madugo talaga ano..sana naman we will all be rewarded with visa for 2011..sige i will keep you posted na lang...
