Hi Everyone, I have a query that I am a student in Canada and i came to Canada first in 2024 May, 2024 and i have visa at that time was till March 2025 and then i extended my study for 1 more year and my study permit is now till 31ST March, 2026 and i have valid TRV till 2032. My this year study will be done by 13 December, 2025 and i am planning to visit India on December 30th, 2025 to till February 19th, 2026. Anyhow my convocation will be in February end of 2026. Also study permit says valid till March 2026. I have query if i am going to India and come back in February 2026. Will Immigration officer allow me to reenter into Canada if i say i came back to attend my convocation? Is convocation strong reason to re enter into Canada. I will be giving my IELTS exam on 20th December, 2025 and when i will be back in Canada (in feb) i will apply my work permit soon in feb as i cannot exit when i will be on applied status. Please give me suggestions.
