I will be applying for Canadian student visa next month but all consultants are saying it's necessary to pay 1 year tuition fee for visa application.

Is that is compulsory?? I want to apply in non-SDS category.

Please help!!

Furthermore, how much money should I show in my account as proof of funds?

1 year fee payment is not required for non sds. But you need to show it in your account plus 10,000 for living expenses + a little extra for flight etc.
