Did you get your AOR.? Immediately send you PCC to CIC.

Hope it helps.
Cheers

In my case, i had given a photocopy of my India PCC. But later i gave my original India PCC(Considering CIC might ask for the same).

Hope it Helps.

Canadian PCC is not mandatory. It will be requested by CIC, if they need. However as you have now, you can send the original copy to them.

Are guys into UAE PCC. How did you receive this?
I am in a fix, now Sharjah Police ask for additional procedure to get in touch with Foreign Affairs Ministry in Abu Dhabi is what they say to get the Police Clearance which is absurd..
Can anyone help???

Hi

Cec14, regards your UAE PCC.

I recently obtained mine from Dubai Police, I held a Sharjah residency visa as that was where my company was registered, I was allowed to apply for the UAE PCC in Dubai as opposed to Sharjah. There were no instructions to contact Abu Dhabi.

I am in Canada so I applied for the PCC outside of the UAE, this forced me to obtain a 10 fingerprint form which the had to be legalized and attested in Canada and then in the UAE. This was then submitted to Dubai Police along with the application form. Dubai Police had changed their policy and they no longer accepted a fingerprint form where the fingerprints were taken by ink. The change meant I had to obtain an electronic scan of the fingerprints.

If you are in the UAE, have you tried contacting Dubai Police as opposed to Sharjah Police? All you would require is your UAE identification card.

Thx

Did U have a UAE ID? If so U can get it from Dubai Police in couple of days...

Hi

No, as I said I am no longer in the UAE, at the time I left UAE ID was not a mandatory requirement.

Thx
