Email address does not look right but you need to post copy the letter here with personal details removed for anyone to comment. If offers the usual flights or accommodation and so on then will not be genuine.

If you Google Maxxam they have been taken over by bvlabs so would expect maybe any offer to come from there or maxxam.ca or bvlabs.com

  2. It s fake..i also received same from this mail id.and they are professionals. They didn’t let me know that it is fake untill they demand money in name of visa fee after 7 months

  3. I don't think scam artists will tell you if they have sent you a fake job offer

  4. True..but how come they are so professional.Their mail language..skype interview and LMIA formalities and all will not let us think that it is fake.

Thank you for your response and the interest you have shown in the job opening at WorleyParsons Canada Ltd.

We wanted to let you know that we received your resume and we are in the process of reviewing your application to see if it matches the requirement of the vacant positions.

I would also like to inform you that a similar opening is available at Maxxam Analytics Canada, they’re currently hiring for the position of Oil and Petroleum Inspector from India. If you wish to try your luck with them, kindly forward your resume to jobs@hr-maxxam.com.

They will contact you directly, but be sure to indicate in the email that Thomas Wright referred you and that you're applying for the oil and petroleum inspection position.

Please be informed that this an oversea job and the opportunity is located in Canada.

    Kind regards,

    Thomas Wright,
    Recruitmemt Consultant.

  10. Why would they hire from India specifically when there are thousands of unemployed/under employed albertans from the oil and gas sector?

  11. Well, the domain name is a good first clue. "consultant.com" is a free email domain service, like gmail or hotmail. Real companies never use those..

  12. Some are more professional than others, but they are generally very easy to spot, as they offer ridiculous things.
