Hello All,

I have a letter from my company expaining about my company in Canada, my roles and responsibilities and my annual salary. It's on company letter head and signed by HR head.
I also have a LMIA exempt filed.
This LMIA exempt number is also on my wp.
I fall under NOC type A (Developer).

Can I use this while calculating crs score?
Will this be accepted as a offer letter by CIC ?
Thanks

Are you here on an ICT? If so, you need to work in Canada for a year before you can claim the 50 job offer points.

If you are on an ICT work permit, you cannot claim the 50 job offer points until you have worked for at least a year in Canada. This applies to both EE and CEC and is a very well known rule. This is different than the 1 year Canadian work experience points - this is the 50 points for having a job offer. Those who hold LMIA exempt work permits must work in Canada for a full year before they can claim the job offer points.
