Yeah.

Background Check is a term that refers to the combination of two stages - Criminality and Security.

Criminality is usually initiated after an applicant passes their medicals, and usually happens simultaneously with the Eligibility verification. Security is usually initiated after Eligibility is marked as Passed by an Officer.

COVID has affected the order of the above, so it doesn't always follow that pattern in some applications, but it is a good benchmark to use when determining what stage your application is at.

I see your AOR is august. What is the current status of your application.

Question for EscoBlades,

I am PA of inland CEC, AOR on Mar 23rd. I got a ADR for IMM5406 on April 13th, uploaded on the same day.
On April 15th, the status changed to "we are reviewing the documents you uploaded." MEP & BIL have passed/noticed/done in the mean time.
My question, in what stage, do they need this additional IMM5406? (completeness? Eligibility? or Criminality?) Thanks in advance
