REGARDING CANADIAN IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS

I am travelling to Canada soon and want to carry 2-3 USB's and an external Hard drive with me! will the officials allow me to carry the stuff with me or will they confiscate the hard drive and USB ?

I put stuff like that in my luggage (not carry on). I have never had any issues.

No issue to bring in but be aware CBSA reserve the right to search any device whether that is a usb hdd laptop or phone How often they might exercise this right nobody can predict but probably not that often versus number travellers

In the unlikely instance they wish to inspect them, they don't care about pirated movies or software, if that's your worry.

Why are you worried? Any illegal stuff on there?

no nothing illegal but i didn't knew if i can carry it or not because i am travelling for the first time and i have read lots of people saying they take the H.D without telling you so i ll be carrying my college related files and stuff so i was worried about that and of course movies
