Regarding Birth Certificate--ND embassy

I did not had the birth certificate so i submitted the copies of my Voter id card and my Xth certificate.

I have not submitted them as originals and have not submitted the birth certificate as well.

I am worried if they will ask for the birth certificate. Will the copies of voter card and xth certificate work in this case.

I had doubt submitting originals as they might not be returned. Please guide what to do...


Also my voter id card says i am XX years as of the date when it was made it does not carry the date of birth but my 10th certificate has all the details like DOB, father name, mother's name.....

If you don't have a BC you can submit whatever proof you have. It would also be better to send an affidavit signed in front of a Notary Public to state that your date of birth is --------------, and does not have any birth certificate.
Submit the original affidavit along with attested photo copies of others.

i Notice that you asked this in New Delhi topic but no one reply back....

I am agree with wilson if you don't have Birth certificate you can use Ur 10th Certificate too but yes it much batter if you attest by notary.
if you still confused may ask Ur sponsor if he can contact in Mississauga call center and ask them regarding this i am sure they will tell him about alternative document. ( Don't be worry many ppls don't have birth certificate)

i dont understand. if he does not have a birth certificate, can he not simply apply in his country for one?
